HISTORY
Since its foundation in 1891, Xavier Loriot Champagne has demonstrated an incredible desire to impose a contemporary style, combining strength of character, technological innovation and a cutting-edge approach. The family vineyards has seen generations of men and women with strong temperaments succeed one another, from George Jobert in 1891 to Charlène Loriot in 2000. No less than five generations of independent wine-growers fashioning and constructing the image of what, 120 years later, would become Xavier Loriot Champagne.
Vineyard
Established for more than 120 years on the slopes of the Marne valley, Xavier Loriot Champagne works hard to cultivate 10.5 hectares of vines divided between the villages of Binson-et-Orquigny, Villers-sous-Chatillon and Reuil.
WINEMAKING
When the harvest comes, Charlène and Xavier distribute the different plots of the estate to coordinate the best time to harvest the grapes. To guarantee an equivalent quality from one year to the next, the selection is made according to the type of soil and this grape variety.
The collection
Driven by a taste for innovation and an assertive anti-conformism, Champagne Xavier Loriot reinvents its champagnes every year. Contemporary by nature, the family-run house has set itself the mission of creating a sensation with every appearance. Pushing back the established rules, the men and women of Champagne Xavier Loriot allow themselves to be led by their intuition and talent.
